Tonic Bar opened April 2014 in the former Judge Roy Bean’s Restaurant (closed in 2008).

The interior space on the first floor was gutted and rebuilt for Tonic.

The building originally housed the Walter Boyt Saddlery Company. A supplier of leather and canvas goods for the war effort during both World Wars. Their factory was next door; during WW II they employed 1,500 people. Post war they changed their focus to providing leather goods for sportsmen and hunters; they kept supplying good to the military also.

Boyt Harness Company of Osceola continues business to this day.
