Des Moines River from Center Street to Vine Street
Completed: 2013
After eight years of work it was completed in 2013 connects 300 miles of Central Iowa Trails
A gift to the city of Des Moines in honor of the 125th anniversary of Principal Financial Group
The Riverwalk loop is 1.2 miles long landscaped promenade
North end of loop – Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge
South end of loop – Union Railroad Bridge (Red Bridge)
